About
Vivakor, Inc. (VIVK) is an energy company that provides crude oil transportation, terminaling, and marketing services in the United States. The company is based in Dallas, Texas, and was incorporated in 2006. It was formerly known as NGI Holdings, LLC and adopted the Vivakor name in April 2008. The company is known for handling crude oil and related products across several connected parts of the oil supply chain.
Vivakor operates through three segments. The Crude Oil Transportation segment runs trucking and pipeline operations, moving crude oil and related products such as crude oil waste streams using a fleet of trucks and pipeline infrastructure. This segment also operates a crude oil gathering and shuttle system and provides transportation services to customers.
The Terminaling and Storage Facilities segment owns and operates physical infrastructure for handling crude oil. It includes ten crude oil pipeline injection truck stations and two major terminaling facilities, which support the movement and storage of crude oil as it passes through the system.
The Marketing and Trading segment handles the purchase, sale, and distribution of crude oil, condensate, natural gas liquids, and refined or processed oil products. These include atmospheric tank bottoms, naphtha, and other light hydrocarbons. Alongside these activities, the company also provides remediation of soil and the extraction of hydrocarbons, reflecting work tied to cleaning up and recovering oil-related material. Through these three segments, Vivakor earns money by moving, storing, and trading crude oil and its byproducts, positioning itself across transportation, storage, and commercial sale within the domestic oil market.
