About
Solaris Resources Inc. Common Shares (SLSR) is a mineral exploration and development company headquartered in Baar, Switzerland. Incorporated in 2018, the company was previously called Solaris Copper Inc. and adopted its current name in December 2019. It is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties, with a focus on copper, molybdenum, gold, lead, zinc, and silver.
The company holds a portfolio of projects spread across several countries in the Americas. Its primary interest is the Warintza project in southeastern Ecuador, located in the province of Morona Santiago. In Chile, it holds the Tamarugo project in the northern part of the country. The company also has interests in the La Verde project in the Sierra Madre del Sur region of Michoacán State in Mexico, along with the Capricho and Paco Orco projects in Peru.
Solaris Resources continues to expand its land position through option agreements. It holds an option to acquire up to a full interest in 10 new exploration concessions, as well as an option covering a separate portfolio of exploration areas, referred to as Solaris 2, that sits immediately next to the Warintza project in Ecuador. As an exploration and development company, Solaris Resources works to define and advance mineral deposits rather than operate producing mines, building its value around the discovery and study of these properties across Ecuador, Chile, Mexico, and Peru.
